Book Of You - Eric Champion

You are poetry
Your lyric and calligraphy enchant me
And the weighty prose
That occupies a single pose can haunt me

I could spend my days
Immersed within your turn of phrase
You reach me
Countless morals I could glean
From meanings written in between
You teach me

The plot is so profound
I can not put it down
Even if I tried to
What will the ending be
In this biography
Is there any me in the book of you

Your eyes are eloquent
And when I read you smile
It can undo me
And I am oh so sure
Your face could win a Pulitzer
You move me

And I wonder how it will end
